NASHVILLE, TENN. (November 9, 2015) – Josh Wilson (Capitol CMG) announces his annual “The Noel Tour” with special guests JJ Heller and Dan Bremnes. The 10-plus-city tour, sponsored by Compassion International, will kick off December 3 in Holland, OH and conclude on December 20 in Sabetha, KS. This is the fifth year for Wilson to headline a Christmas tour, during which he will perform a mix of holiday classics from his first full-length Christmas album, Noel (October 2012). Wilson and a four-piece band will be playing upwards of 20 instruments and will rotate them throughout the night, making this a unique and memorable experience.
Josh Wilson returned to the Grand Ole Opry stage Saturday, October 17. The Opry showcases a mix of country legends and contemporary chart-toppers at each performance. Wilson joined artists Merle Haggard, Connie Smith, Jonathan Jackson, Gary Mule Deer and more. Wilson, a regular volunteer at the Nashville Rescue Mission, had the chance to invite nine men from the Life Recovery Program as his guests, making it a special night for everyone involved.
This past summer, Wilson celebrated his highest street week debut in his nine year career with the recent release of That Was Then, This Is Now. The album hit the Top 5 on the Billboard Top Christian Albums chart and was his first ever debut on the Billboard Top 200 chart. Media have praised Wilson for this successful project by saying:
"With lyrics that pack a punch and a fresh, updated sound, That Was Then, This Is Now, is aptly titled and will serve to define this moment in Wilson’s now nine-year career.” - CCM Magazine
"This most recent endeavor sees Wilson formulate an intimate and personal worship experience while remaining relaxed, accessible, and charming." - JesusFreakHideout
"That Was Then, This Is Now is a fresh solid pop-rock album about life in Christ, surrender to His will, and the transformation that only He can bring." - LifeWay's WorshipLife

ABOUT JOSH WILSON: The Texas-native started taking piano lessons in fourth grade, learned guitar and drums in sixth and seventh grade, and fell in love with songwriting in college at Nashville’s Belmont University. A self-described introvert with an aversion to the spotlight, Wilson never dreamed he’d be the one behind the mic, but God had other plans. Since signing to Sparrow Records in 2006, Wilson has become a staple at radio, amassing six Top 10 hits on Billboard’s Hot Christian Songs chart, including "That Was Then, This Is Now," "Savior, Please," "I Refuse," "Fall Apart," "Carry Me" and "Before The Morning," which landed the No. 4 spot on Billboard’s 2012 Year-End Christian Songs chart. He’s toured with some of the genre’s biggest acts, including Third Day, Steven Curtis Chapman, Matthew West and Casting Crowns; and even veteran artists who applaud Wilson’s carefully honed musicianship have admired his impressive live show. He’s been known to have as many as 20 instruments on-stage at any given time (and knows how to play all of them).
